Those having breakfast in the dining room will have
the choice to pay cash or charge their breakfasts to their
room.
As we all know, part of the weekend's fun is the looseness
we enjoy by being in safe, comfortable, and by now, recognizable
surroundings. The fun of joining in with friends in the
dining room for breakfast and especially the first night when we're all
so glad to finally be at Lutsen is shared by many. However, this
situation has left a few adults paying for quite a few kids’ meals
(sometimes as many as 15-20.) We don't want to stifle the
spontaneity or the kids chance to enjoy the weekend on their own.
Lutsen will have their wait staff ask the name and room number of a
child who is eating without a parent. The meal will simply be
charged to the room, including a 15% tip. If this is not OK
with you, you may want to discuss alternate arrangements with your
family.
