Winter Wonderland Retreat

Event History

This weekend get-away began when the Class of 2006 was in the fifth grade and the enrollment size jumped from 40 to 60. With 20 new kids and 40 new parents, there were people to be met by everybody. The Lutsen get-away has proven to be a place where students could be exposed to a different part of the state, possibly a new sport, a different side to an old or new friend … and in return, come home with new stories, new friends, and new tales of achievement.

And it has been good for the parents. Feeling comfortable with each other is good. Laughing and trusting and caring are good. Knowing differences, tolerating all our little issues and still liking each other is good.

This Winter Wonderland Retreat has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm and support over the past four years and anticipation still runs high in kids and adults alike.
