The details of earning the William Hill Poker bonus money can be difficult to figure out, but we’ll describe it to you in simple terms.

Cash bonuses are then given to players based on WHPoints achieved while playing the real-money cash games and poker tournaments at WilliamHill.com. WH Points are achieved based on the amount of rake collected at each poker hand. William Hill player points are also earned when tournament fees are paid by the poker player. You must play in the hand at the cash table (by calling the hand, etc) or buy in to a tournament to collect player points.

So exactly how are the points earned?

With regards to cash games, William Hill points are distributed based on the Rake Range at a particular ring game and the WH Points chart becomes much more convoluted. But for a quick example, you collect 1.5 WHPoints if the rake is £0.20, 9 points if the rake is £1.00, and 36 points if the rake is £3.00.
Most new players will wonder, how many hours of playing poker to earn my free £1250? Of course, this all depends on the stakes you play, the number of players at the table, the average pot size, etc.
But we can estimate this using the following scenario of playing the £200 NL, £1-£2 blinds 10 player table. We will assume an average pot size of £20.00 which is pretty typical for these stakes. Achieving the mandatory 140,000 WH Points to receive the full £1250 bonus would require about 222 hours of poker!
